The new test is longer;
the math evaluates more complex thinking; and there
is a new writing section for the SAT. During our SAT preparation classes, students will
have many chances to practice and apply their new test-taking
strategies to the practice tests provided with the course.
Classes are often supplemented with one to one, private SAT
tutoring.

SAT PREP CLASSES:
Summer is an excellent opportunity to lay a strong foundation for the school year. Gone is the overwhelming mountain of homework, the constant shuttling to extracurricular activities, and the struggle to strike a balance between the two! The slower pace of summer allows your student the opportunity to focus on acquiring new skills to help them prepare for the SAT.
In our summer SAT Prep class, our experienced instructors teach the material and test-taking techniques for the complete SAT. Through assignments and diagnostic tests, students will have the opportunity to practice new skills, identify problem areas, and concentrate their efforts on mastering the test. All students will receive particular attention and personalized homework assignments that address their specific areas of concern. For students preparing for the PSAT, the "P" in PSAT stands for preliminary. The material covered in our summer SAT prep class applies to both exams.
